About Lapan College and Career Club, Inc.

The Lapan College and Career Club (LC3) has served the students and families of the Wakefield Community of South Tucson since 2004. After 20 years of committed service to the community, the organization and its Clubhouse now stand as a pillar of the community. On any given day, hundreds of students come through our doors taking advantage of the many after-school programs, mentorship opportunities, college preparedness support and a safe, motivating environment, all while earning scholarship for their secondary education, whether that be a four-year university or trade school. Our mission is to make education accessible to and achievable for all students in the Wakefield Community, and to inspire them to pursue their highest goals. With the success of the program over its long history, in May, 2024 LC3 transitioned into its own independent, non-profit 501(c)(3), marking a new chapter in its mission.
