About Latin American Perspectives

Latin American Perspectives, iis a theoretical and scholarly journal for discussion and debate on the political economy of capitalism, imperialism, and socialism in the Americas. Most issues focus on a single problem, nation, or region, providing an in-depth look from participants and scholars throughout the Americas. However, Latin American Perspectives also offers a vital multidisciplinary view of the powerful forces impacting the lives of people across the Americas. As such, the journal combines studies of economics, political science, international relations, philosophy, history, sociology, geography, anthropology and literature, into a comprehensive and scholarly examination of the current state of Latin America. Ultimately, Latin American Perspectives is committed to bringing together scholars and activists around the world who are interested in engaging with the most timely analyses of Latin America. This commitment is demonstrated in our esteemed collective of editors as well as our publication of provocative research in the field. We encourage you to consider becoming a subscriber or to contribute a manuscript to one of our upcoming issues.
