About Laurens County Development Corporation

Located in the upstate region of South Carolina, the Laurens County Development Corporation is the economic development organization for Laurens County. We recruit retail and industrial concerns to the county. Laurens County is the hub of established manufacturing and research in the state. Clemson University's International Center for Automotive Research is only ten miles from Laurens County, and our industrial parks and other industrial locations are well suited to supporting suppliers to automotive manufacturing. Easy access to interstates and rail also make Laurens County an ideal location for advanced materials and distribution facilities. The Laurens County Development Corporation mission and plan ensures that Laurens County continues to be a “business-centered” community which focuses on economic opportunities that result in a viable future for all County citizens. We at the Laurens County Development Corporation are committed to a future for Laurens County that includes jobs that pay well, jobs that allow families to grow and thrive, jobs that include good benefit packages.
