About LE REFUGE LGBTQIA+ OPVANGHUIS
The Refuge LGBTQIA+ is a reception house for queer young adults facing exclusion, family breakdown or exile. It offers transitional accommodation and safe, personalized support to those who can no longer live at home because of their sexual orientation, gender identity or gender expression. The Refuge’s support is structured around two complementary programs, Alan Turing House and CADAL, the LGBTQIA+ Asylum Seekers Reception Center, which together welcome around fifty young people each year. Each young person is supported towards full and lasting autonomy.
