About Leatherstocking Timber Products Inc.

Leatherstocking Timber Products is the home of Leatherstocking Hand Splits, our flagship line of hand-split billets made for the strongest and straightest bats in the game—used by Major League players. Since 1994, we’ve been turning the finest logs into reliable hardwood products, from billets to axe handles, blanks and custom pieces. Combining traditional hand-splitting methods with advanced technology, our focus has always been on grain integrity, durability and sustainable practices in New York’s Leatherstocking Region.
