About Legacy Party at Florida State University

Legacy is a Student Government Association party at Florida State University dedicated to building a network of influential and aspiring leaders. Our mission is to bridge the gap between diverse campus organizations, creating a culture of collaboration to advance Florida State University’s institutional goals through SGA action while supporting the personal growth of every student member. We aim to cultivate a premier leadership ecosystem by integrating voices from across the university, including: - Student Organizations: DSOs, Agencies, and Prominent RSOs. - Athletics, Individual College Leadership Boards, Administration, and Alumni. - Greek Life: All five Greek Councils, Honor Societies, and Professional Fraternities. In addition, Legacy is committed to more than representation; we focus on student development. Through our networking initiatives and professional development, we provide: - Delegate Programs & Senate Slates: Direct pathways for students to enter student government and advocate for their college and peers. - Mentorship Programs: Strategic opportunities to connect incoming students with senior leadership and administration. At its core, Legacy exists to highlight and enhance the traditions that define Florida State.
