About Let’s Talk Access

Let’s Talk Access is a Canadian social enterprise closing the pre-therapy literacy gap—the overlooked space before care begins, where most people are left to navigate complex systems without guidance. We combine trauma-informed group learning, story-driven podcasts, a free Access Guide, and a $24,000 Access Fund to make immediate change happen. Together, these tools help people make informed decisions, reduce harm, and connect to right-fit care. Founded in 2022 and piloted with TELUS Storyhive, Let’s Talk Access is now preparing its second season ( Winter 2026 launch). With growing community partnerships and advisory backing, the project is positioned to scale as a replicable, equity-driven model in Canada and beyond. Standing with our charity partner Fernwood Community Arts Association and peer support Moving Forward Family Services, we are driven to making real change in how people steward access to mental health. Our difference: – Literacy before therapy (we prepare people to engage safely, not sell therapy itself). – Oral knowledge as innovation (voices and stories make literacy stick). – Redistribution built-in (equity funding for participants, not paywalls).
