About Lights Out Gallery

"ights Out Gallery is doing what no one else in Maine does, supporting artists who work in every conceivable way. There are no prerequisites, no requirements of age, gender or otherwise, and no concern that the work is “relevant” and in alignment with current art making social, political or conceptual trends. There is an intense desire to discover good work, and especially that which has received little recognition and lies outside the “grid”, a search for art which in some universal way possesses energy, life and meaning..." – Warren Seelig
