About LILA Studio

LILA is a landscape architecture firm that is passionate about bringing nature, landscape and art to the urban world. Our work disrupts the landscape of the everyday, inspiring creativity and joy through maximizing nature in cities. At the same time we advocate for the value of urban landscape, helping stakeholders, city officials and the community appreciate how much landscape can impact their wellbeing and their bottom line. In a rapidly warming world, landscape has the power to help cool the planet, and our work brings nature into cities wherever possible. At LILA, our multidisciplinary team brings together diverse backgrounds in architecture, landscape design, planning, and horticulture to create innovative and holistic landscape solutions. By blurring the boundaries of traditional landscape architecture, we generate integrated approaches that benefit people, places, and the natural environment alike. Our team draws upon their decade of experience working together on projects spanning the globe. From designing an innovation campus in New York to crafting healing gardens in London, our portfolio showcases a diverse range of projects that demonstrate our commitment to excellence and sustainability. Whether we're conceptualizing a new park on Toronto's waterfront or developing city masterplans in Abu Dhabi and China, our team approaches each project with energy and a shared mission to enhance the planet through the transformative power of landscape architecture.
