About LitShop

LitShop provides afterschool and summer programming that pairs engaging literacy opportunities with hands-on building and making. By intentionally creating a supportive space where girls can take risks, explore creatively, build skills, and connect with other girls, LitShop fosters leadership and confidence our girls can use through adolescence and early adulthood. LitShop is a 501(c)(3) nonprofit organization that pairs literacy with hands-on building and making for girls and gender-expansive youth ages 10-18, with a special focus on early exposure opportunities in architecture/engineering/construction fields. Remember shop class? LitShop is what shop class would be if it was made for and by girls. Come build with us.
