About Little Way Home Care

Little Way Home Care is a family owned private duty home care agency based in Arnold, Maryland, proudly serving families across Anne Arundel County. Our vocation is to help people remain at home with an improved quality of life, whether for a temporary need or long term support to age in place with grace and dignity. Inspired by St. Thérèse of Lisieux and her “Little Way” of doing small acts of kindness with great love, Little Way Home Care was founded on the belief that compassionate care, respect, and dignity are owed to every person we serve. Our founders, Tess and Doug Kurz, both come from healthcare backgrounds in physical therapy and personal caregiving. Caring for others has always been their calling, whether with patients, family, or loved ones. Little Way Home Care is the fruit of that calling, combining healthcare expertise, faith, and a commitment to building a culture of compassion, clear communication, and excellent service. We provide a wide range of services to support families, including companion care, personal care, memory care, respite care, meal preparation, medication reminders, transportation, light housekeeping, hospice support, and assistance with aging in place. At Little Way Home Care, we believe exceptional care begins with caregivers who feel valued and supported. That is why we invest in training, mentorship, and growth opportunities for our team. By supporting our caregivers with the spirit of the Little Way, we ensure they can extend that same compassion and excellence to every family we serve. We are proud to serve families in Arnold, Annapolis, Severna Park, Davidsonville, Crownsville, Riva, Gibson Island, and Galesville, as well as select border communities of neighboring counties.
