About Local Colors of Western Virginia, Inc.

LOCAL COLORS celebrates ethnic and cultural heritages around the globe and fosters the values of inclusion, diversity, and multicultural understanding. Our events, education, and service create a welcoming place for people of diverse origins and opportunities for people to understand each other better. Our signature event, the Local Colors Festival, brings many different cultures together for an opening ceremony with a parade of nations, performances and martial arts demonstrations, dozens of vendor booths with food, crafts, and cultural displays from around the world. Culturally specific events include Hispanic Heritage Month, Lunar New Year, and Norwuz with more on the horizon.
