We bridge the gap between travelers and locals. More and more people today are circling the globe, covering nearly every inch of our planet. For most of us however, it’s difficult to get a truly authentic experience when we travel. What separates flipping through the photos and descriptions in a travel book, from the experience of being in a foreign city? The answer is simple: people. Cities are more than a collection of sights, they are lively, busy places. So when you are exploring an unfamiliar city, you are surrounded by people who are right at home. When you’re traveling, it’s easy to ignore this, and walk through a city the way you’d flip through a book. Lokafy wants to change this by connecting travelers with city locals who can not only share new places, but what those places mean to them. Lokafy helps travellers see a new city through the eyes of the people who live in it. Letting you see cities as they are meant to be seen. Lokafy is on a mission to make travel about people not just places. By getting to know people from around the world, we gain a new perspective and ultimately, understand the world better.
