About LÓKAL performing arts

LÓKAL began its activities as a performing arts festival in 2007 with the aim of introducing significant trends and trends in foreign performing arts to Icelandic audiences and Icelandic performing arts to foreign festival goers. The festival was run under these terms, annually from 2008 to 2024. Over the years, we have had the pleasure and satisfaction of working with hundreds of foreign and local artists and we will continue doing so, even though Lókal has now taken on a slightly different form. www.lokal.is
