The Lord Mayor of Birmingham’s Charity exists to fund the local projects that make Birmingham stronger, safer and more connected. We are a grant-making charity supporting small, volunteer-led and community projects across the city - the local heroes creating real change where it matters most. From youth opportunities and wellbeing initiatives to community support and inclusion programmes, every pound we raise stays in Birmingham and helps power the city’s heartbeat. Our ambition is simple: to help build a more confident and connected Birmingham. We are doing this by creating sustainable funding through our growing community of local businesses - the Brum Builders. Brum Builders is a collective of organisations committing to invest in the future of the city through accessible monthly giving, civic collaboration and shared impact. Together we are: • Funding grassroots projects • Connecting businesses and communities • Celebrating civic pride and leadership • Creating long-term sustainable impact We also bring people together through networking events, flagship celebrations and storytelling that shines a light on Birmingham’s changemakers.
