About Louisiana Sports Hall of Fame

The Louisiana Sports Hall of Fame is on the brink of realizing its fondest dreams with the construction of the spectacular Louisiana Sports Hall of Fame Museum under construction on historic Front Street in downtown Natchitoches, Louisiana’s oldest settlement. The museum scheduled to open in late 2012 will honor Louisiana’s sports legends to include athletes, coaches, administrators and sportswriters. Media rich exhibit designs will provide access to thousands of statistics and images of Louisiana’s greatest sports moments and athletes. Each year, eight new inductees are recognized at one of the nations best attended Induction Ceremonies held the third weekend in June each summer in Natchitoches, Louisiana. The Louisiana Sports Hall of Fame Foundation established in 1975 to support the Louisiana Sports Hall of Fame is busy securing exhibit sponsors for the museum and for the 2012 Induction Weekend. If you are interested in supporting either or both of these efforts, please call or email the Foundation president, Lisa Babin at 318-458-0166 or at lisababin@lasportshall.com
