Luana Savings Bank was established in 1908 in a small Northeast Iowa community called Luana. The area is known for its rich, gently rolling farmland that produces some of the best crops in the state, year after year. Only 16 miles from the Mississippi River, the area thrives in tourism and recreation. Luana Savings Bank now has locations across Iowa - Luana, Ossian, New Hampton, Polk City, Clive and Norwalk. Luana Savings Bank is a family owned and operated bank. Current family ownership has been in place since 1980 and the bank has grown to around 1.9 Billion in assets today. Family roots are tied to agriculture back to the early 1900's and because of this background, agricultural lending has been very successful for Luana Savings Bank across Iowa and beyond. Throughout the years Luana Savings Bank has diversified its portfolio as a leader in the State with agricultural, commercial, residential, and personal lending.
