About Ludwig Hansen Architect and Urban Designer

We believe that through urban design and architecture our projects become essential contributors to the process of giving form, shape, and character to groups of buildings, to whole neighborhoods, and the city, and blends architecture, landscape architecture, and city planning together to make urban areas functional and attractive. Within the South African context it is about the making of places and spaces that enable the broadest possible spectrum of people to participate. Urban intervention is for and about people, and should at all times emphasise the value and significance of place, and always aim to have as focus the common and the shared spaces.
