About Lugbill Designs

Lugbill Designs is a Chicago-based residential interior design and remodeling firm serving homeowners throughout Chicago and the North Shore. Founded in 2010, the firm provides comprehensive design-build services tailored to each client’s lifestyle, architecture, and budget. Their process is structured and highly collaborative, guiding clients from initial discovery and in-home consultation through detailed design development, contractor bidding, budgeting, and construction oversight. Lugbill Designs produces floor plans, elevations, renderings, and curated material selections, then prepares a detailed scope of work to ensure trades execute precisely and efficiently. During pre-construction, the team manages ordering, freight coordination, storage, and scheduling. Throughout construction, they conduct site visits at key milestones—framing, rough-in, tile, cabinetry, and countertops—to uphold design intent and quality standards They create organized construction documentation and oversee punch lists and closeout to minimize change orders and maintain timelines. Beyond construction, Lugbill Designs completes each project with furniture procurement, window treatments, artwork installation, and final styling. The result is a cohesive, move-in-ready home that balances architectural integrity with refined, livable design. The firm is known for blending classic and contemporary influences, creating personalized spaces that feel timeless, functional, and distinctive.
