About LumOptica

LumOptica Limited is a UK-based R&D consultancy, bringing decades of experience and world-class expertise in the optics, laser and infrared domains. We offer: independent consultancy in optical and laser-based systems, optical systems design and simulation, laser-materials interaction modelling, laboratory facilities providing experimental validation through to test and evaluation. Born out of the closure of the research centre of one of the world's largest defence, aerospace and security companies, LumOptica is well-placed to help you at all phases of the project lifecycle: feasibility studies, proof-of-concept, de-risking optical designs through simulation, testing and evaluating prototypes.
