About Lyonel A. Makzume Group of Companies

LAM - Lyonel A. Makzume Shipping Agencies Co. Inc., founded in 1944 in Iskenderun, Turkey, is today more than a leading shipping agency in Turkey, and has developed into a group of shipping and logistic services companies. Today, through its various fully or partly owned companies, LAM has evolved into a 'group of transport companies' and offers a complete range of shipping and marine services, transportation and logistic services. LAM has the ability to develop strategic partnerships with companies and groups sharing the same professional and social values. This led LAM to become not only a national leader in its field, but also a regional player establishing its own offices in neighboring countries since 1996. We are very proud to offer all our customers a dedicated service on international and regional levels thanks to a dynamic and professional team spread over the region and answering to the same work ethic. LAM is a family owned company, however, each of our colleagues at LAM can enjoy a smart combination of family and corporate values that makes their everyday job fun and rewarding, and adds value to their everyday life. Our team annually handles over 100,000 Teu containers, 1,500 strait transits and port calls in three countries, over 3,000 tons of air cargo, as well as many more other logistic services for a total turnover of more than USD 100 millions.
