Lyzeum Ltd is a University of Cambridge spin-out dedicated to improving the accuracy and turnaround time of biopsy diagnosis. The company is developing fully automated, AI-based computational analysis of small-intestinal (duodenal) biopsies to identify samples that are either clearly normal or show signs of coeliac disease. Our algorithm has demonstrated pathologist-level accuracy in diagnosing coeliac disease and provides interpretable features, such as cell counts, to support clinical decision-making.
