About Machine Hall

Formerly a substation powering Sydney, now empowering a new era in culture. Machine Hall is a state-of-the-art urban cultural precinct, purpose-built as a stage for world class events, activations and experiences. This breathtaking 1,000 square metre site comprises four distinct event spaces: Machine Hall, Third Space, Fuse Box and Clarence Vault Rooms. This collaborative approach brings the worlds of business and culture together in whole new ways, empowering communities and enabling inspiring cross-sector innovation. Having sat dormant for 30 years hidden in the heart of Sydney, this architectural icon sets a new benchmark for the transformation of under-utilised heritage buildings globally.
