Our group of dedicated transportation experts have carrier and distribution experience that presents a new perspective when analyzing our client’s day-to-day shipping procedures. Shippers are turning away from traditional shipping methods to true, full service logistics providers for answers. And we’ve responded with more than standard freight services. We’ve literally reinvented transportation to suit each customer’s exact requirements. Today’s buyers of transportation know that logistics is more than a cost-centre. It’s a key component to an organization’s strategic direction. Clients turn to us for transportation expertise… so they can focus on running their business. Far too often their time is spent managing carriers, arranging for the handling of goods and administering a complex payment process. Time that could be diverted to other areas of their business. Our experts conduct a no-cost supply chain analysis and once we are familiar with our client’s unique operational procedures, we design, implement and oversee the new transportation strategy. Our transportation management services include: • Expert rate negotiation • Transportation planning and execution • Consolidated carrier on-line tracking and electronic updates • Capacity and consolidation management • Route optimization • Collaborative planning Whether it’s to reduce our client’s costs or to provide a solution to equipment shortage and service, we understand their processes and can respond by transforming the supply chain into a tactical advantage.
