About Madina Job Center, Ghana

The Madina Job Center is an initiative of Hon. Lawyer Francis Xavier Sosu Member of Parliament for the Madina Constituency. Under Sustainable Development Goals 1 and 8, this initiative is working to alleviate poverty by promoting decent work and economic growth in the Madina Constituency and beyond. Our aim is to provide human-centric solutions to promote socio-economic development in our community. We operate using three modules. They are the 1. Job Recruitment module 2. Vocational Apprenticeship module 3. Entrepreneurship Module. Job Recruitment Module The Madina Job Center innovatively promotes economic growth by providing employment opportunities through offering free job recruitment and placement services Vocational Apprenticeship Module The Madina Job Center promotes decent work by equipping youth with entrepreneurial and vocational skills in high demand in the municipality (Fashion Design, Plumbing, Carpentry and Hairdressing, etc). Entrepreneurship Module Offering capacity building opportunities, this module offers training to individuals in both entrepreneur and intraprenuer spheres. Training includes IT literacy, soft skill training and entrepreneurship development training to youth in the municipality. Our Entrepreneurship development program operating as the Madina StartUp Hub supports aspiring entrepreneurs to ideate into prototypes for market pilot and product growth purposes. Mission To provide equal employment opportunities, skills development, and efficient talent management by efficiently connecting job searchers to jobs, providing top-notch skills training, and establishing sustainable economic cycles.
