MAG Holdings Berhad (“MAG” or the “Company”, together with its subsidiaries, the “Group”) is an aquaculture-based food producer listed on the ACE Market of Bursa Malaysia Securities Berhad. The name “MAG” stands for Malaysian Aquaculture Group and was adopted on 7 August 2020 to reflect its core business in aquaculture. In 2019, MAG diversified into prawn aquaculture in Malaysia, reducing its involvement in the edible oil business. The Group acquired two major prawn farms as part of this shift located in Tawau, Sabah. Both farms lie along the coastal area of the Western Pacific Ocean, renowned for pristine waters ideal for shrimp farming. MAG primarily cultures vannamei prawns in non-pesticidal cured marine ponds, producing fresh, high-quality shrimp. Today, MAG is a leading prawn aquaculture player in Malaysia, operating 235 cultivation ponds and a dedicated processing plant. This vertically integrated model enables the Group to deliver high-quality finished prawn products to meet the demands of both regional and international markets.
