About Magstrom

Magstom was built around the disruptive technology of Active Magnetic Balancing that transforms asset management of electrical machines as we know it. By making generation of clean energy more affordable and increasing the yield in energy-intensive use processes, Magstrom addresses the very core of the global energy challenge. Magstrom's flagship solution UMPZERO™ uses the rotor poles in synchronous generators and motors as controllable electromagnets to, in real-time, effectively neutralize harmful dynamic and static forces. The result is a self-healing machine that prevents root causes to failure and contains the effects of inevitable mechanical imperfections; drastically reducing O&M spend, increasing uptime and extending the service life of the machine. The system may further be deployed to relax mechanical design parameters and thereby reduce the carbon footprint and manufacturing cost of new equipment.
