About Maiden Erlegh Trust
The Maiden Erlegh Trust was established in October 2014, when we Maiden Erlegh School (Earley) received Government approval to open a new Free School to support the families in East Reading. Since then we have sponsored a further two schools and have just been selected to build a new secondary school in Reading - River Academy Maiden Erlegh School in Reading opened its doors to students in September 2015 and along with our established Maiden Erlegh School (Earley) and Great Hollands Primary School in Bracknell, the Trust provides high quality education for nearly 3000 students. The Trust is a DfE approved Academy Sponsor and a Teaching School, Berkshire Teaching School Alliance.
