About MAINE CRAFTS ASSOCIATION

Founded in 1983, the Maine Crafts Association is a non-profit organization providing educational programs, public events, mentorship, artist promotions and an inclusive community to connect emerging, mid-career and established craftspeople. Shop Maine Craft, a retail affiliate of Maine Crafts Association, boosts Maine’s creative economy by providing income opportunities for craft artists. Together, they support artists’ studio practices, businesses, and the community. Dedicated to enhancing Maine’s creative economy, Shop Maine Craft serves as a central hub for resources, retail sales, craft shows, and events, directly supporting artists while advancing the broader mission of the MCA.
