Maine Sauce and Provisions believes in supporting our community, environment, and taste buds. We use only the freshest Maine ingredients from local farmers, makers, and purveyors. Roasting our alliums, toasting our spices, and fermenting our pepper and fruit bases makes it tasty and fun. Flavor comes first with all of our products, whether our fermented and blended shelf stable Maine Gravy hot sauces, our live ferment refrigerated Resurgam hot sauces, or our freeze-dried fermented seasonings. Most of our hot sauces hit in the middle of the hot sauce heat scale pantheon for people who genuinely like serious spice and heat, but don’t necessarily want to hurt themselves. Our Maine Gravy Damariscotta Damnation is an exception, going up against the hottest commercial sauces out there! It's not always easy, but it's always worth it.
