About MAJANG AND ASSOCIATES INC

We are a specialist labour law firm based in Fourways. We act mostly for employers and sometimes for the dismissed employees referred to our office by the Legal Practice Council and the South African Society of Labour Lawyers, on a pro-bono basis. Our attorneys have appeared in all labour law forums including the CCMA, the Labour Court and the Labour Appeal Court. Our services include, but not limited to strike interdicts, bringing and defending review applications, representing our clients at the CCMA, initiating internal disciplinary enquiries, and sometimes defending employees charged with all sorts of misconduct and poor performance. Our attorneys are also experienced in the chairing of disciplinary enquiries. Our directors have a combined experience of over 25 years in the legal practice. We also have extensive experience in advising companies on restraint of trade as well restructuring. From time to time, we offer training to our clients on various labour law topics and processes. One of the key cases where our firm was involved is the Rustenburg v Ngake decision which set a precedent on whether State as the employer was obliged to comply with the security provisions set out in section 145 (7) & (8) of the Labour Relations Act. In addition to labour work, our firm is deeply involved in tax related litigation for various companies and on behalf of SARS.
