About Makami | creative publishing

Makami is a creative publishing venture focused on bringing out the best in people. We work on showing our readers effective ways to determine their goals, reach for their personal poles and stay strong and fulfilled throughout the journey. Marek Kamiński - Polish polar explorer, entrepreneur, philosopher and author - invariably inspires people to undertake difficult ventures and find the strength to achieve them within. "In order to overcome the resistance of matter, the most important thing is to have the mental strength and a source to draw it from. When we don’t have enough of it, we have to look for impulses to stimulate it, activate deeper layers of energy. Without this, it is easy to give in, to say I just can’t manage, it’s easier to just turn back and try next time. It’s easy to extinguish the flame. The whole thing is to keep the flame alive though for as long as you have the power to march. In practically in every expedition I have come to a moment when it seemed that nothing could be done anymore. I had to revive hope in myself. It had to be stimulated and sustained every day."
