About Mallia & D'Amato Booksellers

Mallia & D'Amato Booksellers is an independent, online bookstore set up in 2018. We firmly believe that bookshops are essential to a healthy culture but as more people move online to buy their books, readers are missing out on those personal touches that a competent bookseller can provide: the knowledge, the recommendations, the friendly bookish chats. That personal touch is what distinguishes us from other algorithm-driven online stores. Our focus was always on carrying a small, well-curated selection of fiction, poetry, and beautiful books and thus providing the local book enthusiasts with the latest and most prominent voices in contemporary literature. We could very easily say that our bookshop is an extension of our personal library and interests. Our bookshelves represent books and authors that we love to read or plan to read. This means that among our meticulously curated selection of titles you will find classics of world literature to cutting edge of contemporary fiction and poetry. Our shelves also feature a good selection of nonfiction titles and essays, as well as books about art, science, and philosophy.
