An endodontic treatment is the name given to the specialised dental treatment dealing with the inside of a tooth. From the Greek language, “endo” means inside & “odont” means tooth. Often referred to as “root canal therapy”, an endodontic procedure targets the pulp tissue inside the tooth and surrounding gum near the root of the tooth.
