About Manchester City of Sanctuary

By bringing the City of Sanctuary movement to Manchester, we ensure our proud history of welcome is on display in every last corner of our city. We work with all manner of institutions – from schools to galleries, universities to museums – helping them embed a culture of welcome for people forced to flee. By raising awareness of the challenges faced by people seeking sanctuary, and fostering empathy and inclusion, we ensure we continue to be a city united. Welcome. It's in our DNA. Get involved today.
