About Manchester Jean Monnet Centre of Excellence

We are a platform for research, dialogue, and collaboration in European Studies in Greater Manchester and the North West of England. Our Centre brings together partners from the University of Manchester, Manchester Metropolitan University, and the Europe in the World Centre at the University of Liverpool. Our primary aim is to strengthen the intellectual community in European Studies by fostering local, regional, and international connections among researchers, practitioners, students, and others interested in European affairs. Established in 2003 with the support of the European Commission’s Jean Monnet Action and co-funded by the University of Manchester, we continue to support research, engagement, and collaboration on European issues.
