The family business started over 380 years ago, first as a sake distillery. Generations later, the current chairman decided to use the knowledge of fermentation to create a product for mothers to have healthy children. After 23 years of intensive research, Dr. Matsuura perfected the formula that combines 53 ingredients which are fermented for over 3 years and 3 months.
