About Manitoba Blockchain Association

The Manitoba Blockchain Association is led by academics researching blockchain and professionals with experience working with blockchain technology. The goal of the Association is to act as a resource for Manitobans to consult before getting involved, helping them better understand the risks and best practices to avoid lost funds and falling a victim to scams. The Association hosts meetups regularly where participants discuss different value propositions of blockchain and learn what makes blockchain and cryptocurrencies unique. This varies from economic concepts down to writing code and deploying smart contracts.
