About Manly Warringah Basketball

We are the founding and leading force of basketball on Sydney’s Northern Beaches, and one of New South Wales’ largest associations. Manly Warringah Basketball Association (MWBA) is a community-driven, not-for-profit organisation, delivering real impact without government funding. From grassroots to elite, we provide a proven pathway that develops players, coaches, referees, and leaders at every stage of the game. Our players have progressed to state and national representation, US college scholarships, professional leagues, and the Olympic stage. MWBA is recognised by Basketball NSW for excellence in elite performance, coaching, and inclusive programs, including: 🏆 Association Wheelchair Program of the Year (2024, 2025) 🏆 Most Successful Association – On-Court Performance (Senior Teams) (2025) 🏆 Association Team of the Year – Senior League (2025) 🏆 NBL1 Women’s Coach of the Year (2025) Our goal has always been the same: to create pathways, nurture talent, and strengthen our community through sport.
