Our ‘think global, act local’ approach, relying on an extensive network of local counsel worldwide and our deep ties to U.S. “Big Law” attorneys who provide back-up resources and the specialty services we seek when needed, helps clients respond to the changing times and address their local needs. Our international representations include mergers and acquisitions, commercial transactions, intellectual property, litigation and dispute resolution, and labor and employment. In addition to what we offer “in-house”, we team up with outside resources that we manage for you to offer securities compliance, financing, antitrust and competition law, construction, environmental, and tax legal services. We regularly serve as outside general counsel to non-U.S. companies for their business operations inside the U.S., and we work closely with owners and senior management. In this role, we oversee all aspects of their legal work by using a multi-disciplinary, collaborative team approach to coordinate legal services, be they offered “in-house” or through our network of specialists and correspondents. We are lean, flexible, practical, and efficient. Our deep litigation background and knack for offering real-world risk assessment and implications have helped clients in situations involving product claims, employment issues, government regulatory actions and investigations, securities and consumer protection class actions, as well as false and deceptive advertising claims and consumer law. We are also well-versed in addressing product claims and partnership disputes.
