Groupe Marais is the Tesmec Group French fully owned subsidiary specialized in civil works equipment. The company, acquired by Tesmec on April, 8th 2015, manufactures, rents and sales high performance trenching machines for the laying of fiber optic and electric cables, PVC or PE ducting and other flexible cables/ducts. These machines are suitable for all types of ground conditions such as roads, motorways, airports runways, even the hardest concrete surfaces. Specially designed to comply with the specific features of each work site, the solutions offered by Marais are cost effective, quick and of highest precision and quality. Marais trenchers can dig and lay fiber optic cables/ducts over a distance of 2000 m/day depending upon the condition of the surface. With already over 50 years of experience in his field, Marais has today become an unrivalled leader in the mechanical laying techniques in Europe and Worldwide.
