About Margshala Foundation

At Margshala, we are driven by the idea of creating radically new models of rural development with young people at the front and centre as the next generation of change. Through a diverse suite of programs and community research, we are building a recognition of how rural economies can develop, keeping in mind the collective needs of individuals, communities, and landscapes. By enabling youth change makers to forge different futures for themselves, we aim to create sustainable rural futures in the Western Himalayas.
