About Marico River Honey Bee Co (Pty) Ltd

At Marico River Honey Bee Co, our passion for nature and commitment to sustainability converge in every handcrafted product we create. Our journey began with a simple vision: to reconnect people with the natural world through pure, chemical‐ and preservative‐free honey and bee‐related products that embody quality and care. Each jar of honey, each natural remedy, and every artisanal creation is a testament to our dedication to sustainable beekeeping practices that prioritize the health of our bees and the environment. Our managed bee colonies flourish in pristine, natural foraging areas where biodiversity thrives and agriculture harmonizes with nature. We meticulously source our ingredients directly from our beehives, ensuring that every product is as authentic as it is exceptional. By partnering with suppliers who share our commitment to eco‐friendly practices, we ensure that every element of our production process respects our planet’s natural resources and nurtures sustainable living. Innovation and tradition go hand in hand at Marico River Honey Bee Co. We employ bee‐friendly pest management techniques—using food‐grade diatomaceous earth and natural mixtures of vegetable oil, apple cider vinegar, and slaked lime—to protect our hives from invasive pests while preserving the integrity of our ecosystem. Our hives are elevated on secure steel stands and outfitted with beetle guard entrance reducers, reflecting our unwavering commitment to bee welfare and environmental stewardship. Beyond our products, we are devoted to educating our community about the critical role bees play in sustaining global ecosystems. By choosing our offerings, you join a movement dedicated to nurturing a healthier planet and fostering a future where sustainable practices are the norm. Together, we make a meaningful difference—one hive, one jar, and one step at a time.
