TASMANIAN photographer, Mark (Doc) Doran, retired in Queenstown after a career as a full-time soldier and military reporter with the Australian Army. With 13 operational deployments including war-like, peacekeeping, maritime security and disaster relief, he has worked as an infantry soldier or as a military reporter in more than a dozen countries. Doc has fallen in love with his new home. He now plans to relax and incorporate the intriguing history and pristine, rugged wilderness of Tasmania, and especially the unique West Coast, into a new photography adventure.
