About MAST Architects

Founded in 1977, MAST Architects is an award-winning, employee-focused architectural practice with studios in Glasgow and Edinburgh, delivering thoughtful, sustainable design solutions across Scotland and the UK. We specialise in residential, conservation, and community-led projects, including new build and retrofit, working across care, leisure, learning and commercial sectors. Our work supports a diverse mix of public and private clients, from affordable and private housing to large-scale retrofit, conservation, workplace and regeneration projects. With over four decades of experience, we build lasting relationships with clients and communities, creating low-energy, low-carbon places that enhance lives, celebrate heritage and support a more sustainable built environment. Our work is also supported by our specialist MAST Energy team, bringing added expertise in energy-efficient and sustainable design across a wide range of projects. Wherever we work, our approach remains the same, collaborative, pragmatic design that delivers long-term value for the people and communities we serve. We’re equally committed to our people, supporting professional development through ongoing training and CPD, and mentoring graduate architects within a relaxed, collaborative working environment. As a Certified B Corp, this commitment reflects our wider responsibility to our team, our clients, and the communities we work with.
