About Mathematics Research Center - Academy of Athens

The Mathematics Research Center of the Academy of Athens is aiming to promote cutting-edge research in theoretical and applied mathematics. Its researchers have produced and continue to develop novel rigorous theoretical results, which in turn impact on a variety of problems which originate in the real world. The research activities of the center are in the areas of complex analysis, partial differential equations, pure and applied asymptotic analysis, mathematical analysis of fluid dynamics, mathematical physics, inverse problems, cancer informatics, medical imaging, and mathematics of artificial intelligence.
