About Matrix Seating USA

Matrix Seating USA is redefining custom wheelchair seating by focusing on what matters most: protecting the client, not the cushion. Our seating systems are engineered to actively manage the seated microclimate, addressing heat, moisture, and airflow as critical components of skin health and long-term comfort. With unmatched airflow and hydrophobic materials, Matrix designs resist moisture retention, reduce heat buildup, and help maintain a drier, more stable interface throughout the day. Rather than trapping heat and humidity, our materials allow air to move freely, supporting skin integrity where it matters most. At the core of the AIREZ cushion design is a precisely engineered blend of soft, medium, and firm elastomer fibers, strategically distributed to work together as a single system. This multi-density structure allows for targeted immersion, controlled stability, and consistent load management, helping reduce peak pressures while maintaining support over time, without the breakdown or performance loss seen in traditional materials. Our designs are guided by the Golden Ratio, a principle of balance and proportion applied to contouring, support zones, and material distribution. Clinically, this translates to seating that balances pressure distribution, postural support, and freedom of movement, delivering support that feels natural, responsive, and predictable. From advanced 3D printed elastomer-based cushions to highly adjustable 3D printed nylon back supports, Matrix products are built for clinical integrity, real-world performance, and adaptability as needs change. We collaborate closely with OTs, PTs, ATPs, and end users to advance custom seating through education, evidence, and thoughtful innovation. Protect the client.
