About McGovern & Associates

Africa is a center of innovation. Across the continent, incredible entrepreneurs have founded businesses that solve problems, create jobs, and do significant good for people and the environment. Across industries, fast-growing social enterprises hit a similar moment. A founding team has a great idea. A team of investors has bet on that great idea. Now it’s time to scale. But the difference between success and failure is often about the nuts and bolts of the business - the standardization of the value chain, the quality of backend data systems, the creation of support departments. Organizations further along in their journey need help with systems creation too. Projects, teams, even whole departments may have been underinvested in due to a lack of bandwidth or technical knowledge. In both cases, that’s where McGovern & Associates comes in. At McGovern & Associates, we have taken that same journey in the businesses we have built. We don’t make slide decks, we build the practical process and systems architecture required for your business to scale. We take you from a great idea to a growing business. Our Team At McGovern & Associates, we’re experts in helping fast growing social enterprises win this stage of their organization’s growth. We are former practitioners with 20+ years of combined experience leading some of East Africa’s most successful social enterprises. At McGovern & Associates, we specialize in assisting fast-growing social enterprises to scale.
