About McPhail & Partners Pty Ltd

At McPhail & Partners, we believe accounting is about people, not just numbers. Behind every spreadsheet is someone taking a leap, making a plan, or building a life. That’s why we take the time to understand your goals, offer clear, practical advice, and show up as the kind of accountants you can actually talk to. Led by directors Matt Drew, Steve Howard and Narin Mom, today’s McPhail blends experience with energy. We’re approachable, strategic, and invested in your success, whether that’s growing a business, navigating complex tax issues, or planning for the next big step. The McPhail story began in 1945 with founder Eric McPhail,a pioneer in accounting and community housing. His values of integrity, reliability and service still run through everything we do. But we’ve come a long way since the days of green pens and ledgers. Now based in Mitcham, we serve a wide range of clients—from individuals and families to high-growth businesses and not-for-profits. We’re known for making the complicated simple, and for building long-term relationships that evolve as you do. So if you’re after an accountant who speaks your language, understands your world ,and partners with you for the long haul—you’ll find that (and more) at McPhail & Partners.
