About MCxA

Led by Mauricio Ceballos, MCxA is a global architecture studio shaped by collaboration, research, and integrated design. Mauricio, alongside FR-EE and Foster + Partners, directed Mexico City’s New Airport (NAIM)—Mexico’s most ambitious infrastructure project in 50 years. We believe great design doesn’t come from individual masterminds—it emerges from well-integrated teams, shared values, clear communication, and a rigorous, systematic process. Good design is a workflow: between clients, specialists, and collaborators. From iconic projects like the Soumaya Museum, Plaza Carso, and the G-20 Convention Center, to cutting-edge international work in China—Shenzhen Technology Center, Xiamen Xili Hub, and Super Headquarters—MCxA combines experience, creativity, and technical excellence to deliver projects on time, on budget, and beyond expectations. We harness ideas and research to shape environments that are sustainable, equitable, and surprising—architecture that connects with users and adds value for clients. Across scales, types, and typologies, our focus is always high-quality, human-centered design. Our integrated services: Architecture | Interiors | Furniture | Materials | Landscape | Procurement We design holistically, guided by client vision, using advanced software and analytics to optimize comfort, daylight, ventilation, and energy performance.
